“I’m  both curious and analytical by nature and try to research and find solutions from imaginative chaos, I then reflect on it and start again”Enrique Saavedra is a product design graduate from the university of a coruña’s industrial design school (2005).

Before he even completed his degree as an engineer he worked at The Other Stone Studios on projects that where somewhere between industrial and art. In 2006 he began an industrial design project with Equona Design,  where he developed products using  ROTOMOLDEO such as Kompact Wall.

In November 2008 he began to work for the Amil Lago as industrial design in charge of international commercial projects. During this time he work for brands such as Inditex, Massimo Dutti, Women’s Secret, Movistar or Cortefiel.

In October 2012 He decided to venture out on new projects as a freelance in London working for brands such as Dixons, Shell, Sainsbury’s, Tesco developing products.

In June 2 011 along with Marco’s Saavedra, they created the Vermis project which was a Fujitsu Design Finalist and this was the beginning  of the Vermis Project studio founded in September 2013, he is the director of the English branch. They embarked on a variety of very different projects where the common denominator was the high level of innovation and creativity.

Some of which were Designthinking.gal, VermisLAB or organizing the 1st Maker Faire in Galician History.

In 2015 along with Marco’s Saavedra were speakers at TEDx talking about the Maker Movement.
