After School Activity GameMakers

GameMakers is an activity aimed at children aged 10 onwards which incorporates the areas of design, art, photography, storytelling and programming to make videogames on different platforms. We will cover game history, game mechanics, character creation, stories that we will then programme and share completed projects with other GameMakers.

The projects help to develop creativity, team work, problem solving skills in addition to reflecting on the importance of our values and ethics when creating responsible digital content. This is important as videogames are a powerful educational tool.
